Dry Eyes
Today, the pathology of dry eyes is the most frequent condition in ophthalmology. According to recent studies, approximately one in every five patients who visit ophthalmologists have dry eyes.
Dry eyes often occur as a symptom in conjunction with other conditions. However, everyday environmental influences, inflammation or the patient’s own hormones may also be the cause of dry eyes.
Dry eyes should not be underestimated. The symptoms can vary from a minor nuisance in daily life to damage to the cornea which may interfere with the patient’s vision.
After thorough diagnosis, we apply a combination of symptomatic and remedial treatment methods , which are modified according to the causes.
