Laser treatment
Today, eye laser treatments are used for a whole array of different conditions. For example, damaged retinal areas can be treated with an argon laser in diabetics with commencing changes to the retina. Or in the event of secondary cataract formation after cataract surgery, only a few laser pulses are enough to remove the secondary cataract. If a treatment with eye drops is no longer sufficient in glaucoma patients, or if the amount of eye drops it to be considerably reduced, the eye pressure can be reduced by means of a special laser treatment.
