Full-time employment at DOmed as an Medical Assistant:

At the moment we are looking for support as:

Medical Assistant on a full-time basis for our practice at DOmed eye clinic Westfalen, Rheinlanddamm 199, 44139 Dortmund.(m/f/d)
Medical Assistant on a full-time basis for our practice at DOmed eye center Lünen, Merschstr. 22, 44534 Lünen.(m/f/d)
Medical Assistant on a full-time basis for our practice at DOmed eye center Hombruch, Harkortstr. 64, 44245 Dortmund-Hombruch.(m/f/d)
Nurs (m/f/d) or Operations technical assistant (OTA) (m/f/d) or medical assistant (m/f/d) in the operation room at DOmed eye clinic Westfalen, Rheinlanddamm 199, 44139 Dortmund.(m/w/d)

Your tasks as a Medical Assistant in our office:

Writing reports
Administrative tasks
Accounting in acc. with the Fee Regulations for Physicians (GOÄ) and health insurance
Statistics

Your tasks as a Medical Assistant in our practice:

Receiving and discharging patients
Making and coordinating appointments
Telephone service
Preliminary examinations
Assistance in the surgery
Maintenance and entry of patient data, medical histories, accounting codes and documentations in the internal IT-system (IFA)
Printing, creation and preparation of prescriptions, forms, declarations of consent, medical reports and information sheets
Processing of inquiries (health insurance/hospitals)

Your tasks as a Medical Assistant in our operating room:

Planning of the operating day
Material procurement
Preparation of the operating room
Floater tasks
Documentation and accounting
Assistance at the table
Post-processing of the operating room

Requirements

You have a completed training as a nurse, OR nurse, OTA or MFA
Professional experience in the OR area or further training is desirable; we also welcome young professionals
You enjoy working with state-of-the-art medical technology
Motivation, ability to coordinate and promote successful cooperation

Your profile:

Appropriate professional experience in the field of ophthalmology beneficial
Empathy and enthusiasm for dealing with patients
Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Structured and independent working style
Team spirit and pleasant working environment
High degree of commitment, flexibility and resilience
English language skills would be an advantage
MS Office skills (Word, Excel) would be an advantage

Vocational training at DOmed:

In our professional team, you will learn everything you need to know as a medical assistant in the field of ophthalmology. You will support our doctors and nurses with the organisation and administration of the relevant medical centre.
