Eyelid surgery
The skin around the eyes slackens with age. The connective tissue structure of the eyes loses elasticity, moisture is deposited and the face appears increasingly drawn (keywords here are drooping eyelids and bags under the eyes).
The aim of eyelid correction is to restore the eye to its original appearance.
An eyelid correction takes approximately 60 minutes. The successful result is already visible after just a few days and gives you a distinctly more vivacious appearance.
Botox and hyaluronic acid
The mimic muscles stretch and push together the skin of the face above them countless times a day. In areas of the face which are particularly affected by the mimic muscles, such as the forehead and the eye area, this effect leads to permanent changes to the skin – wrinkles are formed. Typical examples are horizontal forehead lines, frown lines or laughter lines.
In order to treat the unwelcome wrinkles all over the face, a small amount of botulinum toxin can be injected. Botulinum toxin reduces the muscle activity in the targeted areas of the face, which are precisely defined in advance. This effectively reduces the formation of wrinkles. Thanks to the reduced muscle activity, the skin in this area is subject to significantly less strain, resulting in a lasting reduction in the progress of wrinkle formation. Botulinum toxin not only has a quickly visible effect with regards to wrinkle treatment, but also has a prophylactic effect in the medium and long term with regards to increases in the formation of wrinkles.
The effect begins after approximately 10-14 days and lasts for approximately four to six months.
In the case of deep wrinkles with fracture lines, a combination treatment with hyaluronic acid can be used.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural moisture-binding agent in the subcutaneous tissue which is continually produced by the human body. It naturally stretches the new skin at the surface, making it appear firm. With age, the production of hyaluronic acid slows down, the skin’s elasticity reduces, and wrinkles begin to form. The introduction of hyaluronic acid can help to compensate for this. The skin is naturally tightened at the desired location by the moisture-binding agent and wrinkles vanish. Additionally, hyaluronic acid can also be used as a filler for beautiful lips.
