IPCL Presbyopia

The intraocular solution for presbyopia

Most people begin to notice presbyopia (age-related long-sightedness) from the age of 40 onwards, when reading and working at the computer become increasingly difficult.
Through the eyes’ natural ageing process, their accommodation, or ability to actively adjust visual acuity to different distances, decreases.
While a normal ICL provides excellent image quality at a focal point, the presbyopic IPCL thus has focal points for short, medium and long distances.  This counteracts age-related long-sightedness, making a life without reading glasses possible.
